Are you interested in supporting a grassroots movement that advocates for family-led, environmentally sustainable, meaningful end-of-life care? Maybe you’re already a community deathcare practitioner, or maybe you’re curious about this mission and want to get involved. Whether a long-time member or newly curious, Community Deathcare Ottawa would love to see you!

At our April 1st Meet & Greet, find out how we’re working to restore death as a sacred part of life. Learn about the varied ways we’re bringing about change – whether natural burial, home vigils, witnessing grief – and how you can help.

Opportunities to socialize, connect, and re-connect will govern our first hour together. Mingle with like-minded ones over tea and cookies as you deepen into or discover the various aspects that make up community deathcare.

The second half of our time together will offer up a chance to look ahead and plan for the future.

Let us know if you plan to come! Contact us here.
